Yesterday was our 32-week check-up at CHOP. We met with the OB group, the Cardiac group and a Lactation Consultant. Jack is doing great! He is weighing in on target and we even got to see his eyes open for the first time during the ultrasound - weird but cool! The entire staff at CHOP is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and really listens to what we have to say. We finished our day with a tour of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU). The tour was hard for us. We got a little taste of the reality we have been putting to the back of our minds. Immediately after birth, Jack will be taken to the CICU and remain there for most of his stay. We will be able to visit with Jack anytime.
